Message: I have been reading some of these. One was suggesting that we warn the afgan. government to take this matter with full intention. Let me tell you this we dont have the authority to tell the other government what to do when our own government cant do a jack. Everybody is given great adivce that they should send commandos and storm the airplane and kill them, but they forget to realize that those that it is not there family which is in trouble but it some one else family. It is very easy to say something when you have nothing to lose but when comes time we act like chicken. All of you who are thinking of how to kill those hostage takers but no commpassion for those who are going through this ordeal. Tell me something why the hell the plane was alowed to leave that airport, because we have a incomptant government which can not take any right stand.

Message: I don't think that govt. should release the militant and bow to the pressure .It will be the repetition of the 1991 mistake and will provoke further incidents of these types . Our citizens and relatives should also be calm and support the govt at this national crisis. After the incident over, govt should find out the loopholes in the security which led to this incident .

Message: TERRORISM CAN NEVER BE ACCEPTED. IF WE HAVE ACCEPTED ANY TIME BEFORE IT IS AN ERROR. MY SINCERE PRAYERS TO GOD TO GIVE A SPARK OF HUMANITY TO THE TERRORISTS AT THIS TIME. ALSO TO THE LEADERS OF INDIA FOR STRENGTH AND WISDOM TO TACKLE THE SITUATION WITHOUT CHANGING THE FIRST PROPOSITION. HOWEVER, IT IS TOTALLY A HUMAN ERROR AND IRRESPONSIBILITY THAT WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SENSE OF DUTY TO TAKE MEASURES OF PROTECTIONS IN ALL MAIN POINTS. THIS SITUATION REMINDS US OF THE TOTAL CORRUPTION AND LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIAN SOCIETY. IF TRAGIC HAPPENS, WE ARE TO BLAMED. WE ALL SHOULD SHOULDER AND ANSWER FOR EVERY DROP OF BLOOD DUE TO LACK OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY IN OUR DUTY. AS I TYPE THIS, THE DEAD LINE IS GIVEN AND MY SOUL IS ON KNEES BEFORE GOD FOR THE INNOCENT PEOPLE. MOHAN

Message:I feel the criminal called masood must not be released. It will demoralise the defense. Once they are relesed they will kill anyway. The hijackers should be killed , and sacrifices of Rupin will always be revered Narayan Mysore

Message:Firstly the governments have to stop pointing fingers at each other and think radically about the current crisis. 160 lives are at stake. There are a few options open to the goverment. Either give in to the hijackers, let them blow up the plane or make it an eye for an eye. For every passenger killed, kill one of the terrorists men. The government is in a dilemma but I believe that the government has a reason for dragging the situation this long. Lets just pray hard that the outcome is not disastrous and may all teh passengers come out of the crisis safely.

Message: It is very easy to sit in a room and type. But this requires a lots of thinking after watching all news on zee and star tv for three days. I am confused we are at loss anyhow. If we leave this criminal he will plan another bad things and will kill thousands and if we don't leave him then this terrorists will kill the people in the airbus. Let us all pray to god and support our government. There are people who are educated and can take decisions. But I would like to appeal to the Indian muslims to please try to understand things and get educated. What this all JEHAD and all you are having eyes ears and all stuff we have the same. All r humans all this religious belives are rubish. And I would like to congratulate the pilots of 814 for their courage and I would pray that god saves all. Thank you.I would again make an appeal to Muslim community to end all this and bring peace. May GOD save all. Thank you.

Message: NO . WE SHOULD NOT GIVE IN TO THE ILLEGITIMATE DEMANDS OF THE EXTRIMISTS, BUT INSTEAD WE MAY MAKE A COMPROMISE BY OFFERING OUR POLITICIANS IN EXCHANGE.

Name: Dr G K Suryanarayana
Email: gksurya_99@rediff.com
Message: The hijackers must be killed. It is a big mistake to detain terrorists in Jails. As long as terrorists lie in Jail, hijacking will not stop. There must be some limit up to which crime may be tolerated. Beyond the limit, the criminal should be eliminated. The KGB or Mossad should be asked to help the Indian Govt. in this regard.

The reason being the sufferings/difficulties our securities undergo in catching these terrorists. for the sake of 180 passengers if we release a terrorist he may kill 18000 people tomorrow. In the broad interest of Terrorist free India, Government should not release any of these terrorists Come what may. If the Government start releasing them the hizakers may hizack 180 flight to release more terrorists.

Name: prat hingorani
Email: prathingorani@hotmail.coom
Message: Under no circumstances should the government allow the release of Maulana Masood Azhar. Not only will his release boost the moral of other terrorists, but it will show India in bad light. What we need to do is to hire the Mossad of Israel and invade the plane.

Message: SP Binod Singh security chief at Kathmandu Airport has said that the five hijackers neither boarded from Kathmandu nor were their names present in the Passengers manifest. According to him "this is an Indian drama, disembarking at kathmandu continued on return flight to New Delhi." It is conceivable that an odd person may get through the security checks at Kathmandu but they are not so lax that five persons who do not have their naming in the manifest and carrying weapons would have been able to board undetected. According to reports senior officials of Kathmandu airport security, immigration and civil aviation have been suspended forthwith.

Message: Yes,the no.of human lives at stake are more important than one single individual

Name: manish
Email: manu_saini@usa.net
Message: no he should not be released .instead hijackers should be killed along with Maulana Masood .if gov.releases him, militants found a way to impose any demand by hijacking planes in future.

Name: nirmal
Email: nirml@hotmail.com
Message: Definitly the government should release Maulana Masood in exchange for the lives of the crew and passenger after all the govt couldnt take any decision on the militant leader what it was going to do with the militant at least it can free the hostages using him

Name: Troubleshooter
Email: tshooter@007bawnd.com
Message: The most frightening threat that the hijackers could face is an offer from TCS/Wipro for position of a systems analyst. Do this and you could have the hijackers running for their lives.

Name: Girisha B S
Email: gsbanavar@hotmail.com
Message: I am a stranger to the episode; stranger because, I don't have any relative/friend on the ill fated plane. But I myself have been going through the anguish of this tragedy. Probably I have no words to sympathise with the relatives. Lesser still, can I express my sympathy for those who are on board. But I can dare say that, whoever is doing this, and for whatever they are doing, they are not doing it right. To say that this is an inhuman act is a gross under-statement. The lives of 160+ people on board may seem to be worth freeing a militant. However, think of the terror that would be unleashed in the valley by this militant leader. 16000 people can get killed because him. Yes, it is extremely painful to see our people dying (it is 1.40 PM IST now; the dead line given by the hijackers). But let not the Govt of India yield to pressures. Let us not repeat the mistake we did by releasing militants for one Rubiya Sayeed. We have been dearly paying for it now.

Message: My opinion is to release Maulana Masood because the life off the inoccent people is important

Name: Mrs. Snehlata Kelkar
Email: alpana_ani@yahoo.com
Message: Yes, these demands should be accepted in lieu of life of innocent passenger. Our indian law itself says that you could set free hundred guilty criminals but one innocent human being should not be punished. When the government can set free militants to save Saifuddin Soz's daugther, Gulam Nabi Azad's brother-in-law, then why are they taking so much of time to take such a decision this time. As far as these militants are concerned, the state machinary should tighten their noose around these militants and no mercy to them, please !

Name: HARBIR SINGH
