'If we computerise things, people won't have any work'

April 28, 2009

He adds, "These days, 95 per cent of people who are fighting cases in court, don't understand what their lawyers are saying. Don't they have the right to understand the arguments? As far as computers are concerned, we have created many IT hubs in Uttar Pradesh and Noida. But if we computerise things in the villages also, people won't have any work. It will create unemployment. So until their means of livelihood are assured, computerisation should be held off. Machines create loss of jobs for people."
