BSP candidate Ashish Shukla is also confident about victory. "We have already opened an account in the assembly election. I am confident that we will win this time and Rahul Gandhi will be defeated," he says.
Accusing Rahul of "show business", Shukla says, "He comes and plays here, then goes to have tea at some Dalit home. Does he think that people are fools? They know that he is only showing off."
"The Congress hasn't done anything for Dalits and poor people in the last 50 years, what will they do now?" says Shukla, a Brahmin. "The people of Amethi know this and therefore they want change."
