No US troops in our territory: Pakistan

K J M Varma in Islamabad

Pakistan on Saturday emphatically denied reports that any contingent of United States troops has landed in its territory to begin military operations against Afghanistan.

Pakistan's Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider and Foreign Office spokesman Riaz Mohammad Khan also dismissed reports that a number of Osama bin Laden's associates involved in terrorist attacks in US have been arrested.

Haider also denied that Taleban has captured some US special troops personnel, who were reportedly crossing the Pakistani border at Chaman to enter Afghanistan.
