US presents evidence against Osama to NATO

United States Deputy Defence Secretary Paul Wolfowitz on Thursday said he presented evidence of Osama bin Laden's involvement in the September 11 terror attacks to NATO allies and Russia.

NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson said Wolfowitz's presentation, made near the end of a daylong meeting of NATO defence ministers on Wednesday, was convincing.

"It becomes clearer and clearer that all roads being pursued lead to bin Laden and his Al-Qaida network," Robertson said.

"I took them through a number of things that may have sounded like new facts. But most of them were in the public records and court records," Wolfowitz said.

"And I added to it that we've identified a number of the hijackers as being members of Al-Qaida," he added.
