Pakistan would want to see detailed US military plans if its cooperation is required for any attack on Afghanistan.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, foreign office spokesman Riaz Mohammad Khan said the US so far had not made any requests for Pakistani military assistance.
"If any specific cooperation is sought from us then certainly we would like to be informed of the operations," Khan said. He added that Pakistan would also like to see the evidence against Osama bin Laden, the prime suspect in the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington.
On Sunday the ruling Taleban militia of Afghanistan said that Laden is in their 'safe custody'.
Khan said Pakistan remained committed to engagement with the Taleban, despite the failure of two Pakistani delegations to convince its leader Mullah Mohammad Omar to hand over bin Laden.
