Agassi, Graf marry in Las Vegas

Tennis power couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, who are expecting a child together in December, were married on Monday in a private ceremony by a Las Vegas judge, a spokesman for Agassi said.

"We are so blessed to be married and starting this chapter of our lives," the newlyweds said in a joint statement. "The privacy and intimacy of our ceremony was beautiful and reflective of all we value."

It was the second marriage for Las Vegas native Agassi, 31, who wed actress Brooke Shields in 1997 after a much-publicized romance. The two were divorced in 1999.

It was the first marriage for Germany's Graf, 32, who retired from professional tennis in 1999 and has since been a fixture at Agassi's matches.
