Chiranjeevi's brother gets a shock during road show

Pavan Kalyan, the popular Telugu actor and president of youth wing of Praja Rajyam party, on Wednesday had a miraculous escape when he accidentally came in contact with live electric wire during his visit to Karimnagar district.

The police said incident occurred this evening when he was participating in a road show in Husnabad mandal of Karimnagar district. "As he waved back his hands in response to the reception by his fans and supporters, his hand touched an over head electric wire and he collapsed on the roof of his vehicle", an onlooker said.

The incident sent waves of panic and shock among the supporters as the actor was immediately moved to an ambulance present in the convoy. They said actor's blood pressure had dropped but his condition was stable. The actor regained consciousness after a while. The actor and a party worker suffer minor injury in the mishap.

Praja Rajyam party leaders said he was being brought back to Hyderabad in an ambulance for better medical care.

Pavan Kalyan, the youngest brother of Praja Rajyam founder Chiranjeevi, was recently appointed the chief of the youth wing of the party and he is undertaking visit to different parts of the state to campaign for the party.
