The public sector Indian on Tuesday conducted a probe against the pilot who had allegedly not allowed Indian Union Muslim League leader Abdul Wahab to board a flight at the Kozhikode International Airport.
A statement of the airline staff on duty on Monday had been recorded and submitted to the executive director, Indian Airlines Southern Region, Chennai, AAI Station Manager N Kannan told UNI.
The ED was expected to send a final report to the higher authorities after recording the statement of pilot Rajat Rana, who reportedly denied entry to Wahab on Indian to Kochi on Monday as he arrived late to board the flight, Kannan said.
The Rajya Sabha member, who denied the charge, later took another flight to Dubai on Monday.
Irked over the 'rude' behaviour of the pilot towards him, Wahab said he would take up the issue with the Privileges Committee of Parliament.
"If this is the kind of treatment that a Parliament member has to face, then what would be the experience of the common man," local media quoted Wahab as saying.
