Kerala is becoming a breeding centre for terrorists, particularly Inter Services Intelligence activists, Bharatiya Janata Party national secretary Indra Sena Reddy said on Monday.

Speaking to reporters in Kochi, Reddy alleged that when neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh are not able to fight directly, they want to create problems in the country.

"First they try to destablise the economy by pumping fake currency through different borders of the country," he said adding, Kerala was becoming a "breeding centre" for terrorists, especially ISI activists.

Reddy also alleged that these countries want to hit research institutes in India, which are helping the country to come up in a big way, competing with developed countries.

"ISI-backed terrorists want to create an uneasy atmosphere between major religious groups and that is why they are attacking sentimental places like Ayodhya, Parliament and other places," he alleged.

Reddy accused the Congress and the Communist parties saying, "These parties have 'nakedly' supported People's Democratic Party leader Abdul Naser Madhani, who is in jail in connection with the killing of 50-odd people in Coimbatore, just for the sake of votes."

Reddy charged that the Communists and Communist governments "say one thing and do exactly the opposite."

Referring to the land encroachment in Munnar, Reddy said, "Our demand is that poor people, if they are not having landed property, should be given rights on the land."

Alleging that Communists blackmail the government when they are not in power, he said, "Now they are eyeing the post of President of India."

He said the national executive of BJP will meet after the Goa polls to discuss the UP polls.
