Two explosions on Friday killed two boys and injured another in Kupwara and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two boys were seriously injured when an improvised explosive device hidden by militants near a stream went off, officials said.
While eight-year-old Bilal Ahmad was declared dead on arrival at the Kupwara District Hospital, 15-year-old Showkat Ahmad was referred to the SKIMS hospital in a critical condition, they said.
In the incident at Rajouri, a boy, identified as Arif, picked up a tin glass-fitted IED, which went off killing the boy on the spot.
