Patil later left for Machilipatnam with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and State Revenue Minister Dharamana Prasada Rao by helicopter.

He will visit some flood affected areas in Krishna district after arriving in Machilipatnam and later conduct an aerial survey in Guntur and Prakasam districts.
