The Bharatiya Janata Party's two-day 'Chintan Baithak' began at Cherai near Kochi on Wednesday to discuss the party's strategy for the local bodies elections in Kerala in September and the assembly polls due next year.
The closed-door meeting is being attended by top BJP leaders, including party vice-president Venkaiah Naidu, general secretary Pramod Mahajan and other state committee members.
The meeting is likely to include discussions on various issues concerning the party's Kerala unit, BJP sources said.
