Bangladesh on Wednesday said that no Indian insurgents training camp exist in that country and that this has been verified during investigations on the basis of a list provided by New Delhi.

Outgoing Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Tauhid Hussain, who met West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee at Writers' Buildings in Kolkata, said both India and Bangladesh are holding talks on border fencing, adding that apart from incidence of trans-border crimes and law and order problems, there were no cases of infiltration.

Tauhid, who had a four-year stint as deputy high commissioner in Kolkata, said he would be replaced by Md. Imran.

Imran is now posted as deputy chief commissioner in Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa.
