Prime Minister Manmohan Singh returned home on Friday night after a three-day state visit to United States where he clinched a deal with President George W Bush for cooperation in civilian nuclear energy.

Besides holding talks with Bush on various international and bilateral matters, Dr Singh also addressed the joint session of the US Congress and launched a Indo-US CEOs forum.

Before leaving for India, Dr Singh had described his visit to the US as 'great'. He returned home after a night halt in Geneva.
