Bedi, who was remanded to judicial custody by a local court till December 20, was sent by a train Thursday morning amidst tight security, Superintendent of Police A K Singh said. A 20-member police team, including women personnel, escorted Bedi in a special bogie to Hyderabad, from where she was brought on December 4 and remanded to two days' police custody on December 5, for interrogation, he said.
Judge Dinesh Kumar Dangi is scheduled to pronounce his order on Bedi's bail application on Friday, police said adding that she was facing similar charges in Hyderabad.
Bedi, along with Salem and three others, was accused of procuring passport on forged documents from Hyderabad about four years back, they said. She was arrested along with the don in Lisbon and extradited from Portugal in November.
