President Bush is no stranger to the notion of 'taking time out.' Since taking office, this is his 49th trip to the ranch, and his 319th day in Crawford, marking approximately 20 per cent of his presidency.
Add to this the many weekends at his parents' home in Maine, holidays at Camp David, two-hour exercise sessions daily, and a reluctance to work late nights or weekends, and you have the kind of job profile a whole lot of Americans would kill for.
Who, then, can blame late-night comics for taking constant digs at him?
