BJP amends party constitution to permit two terms as president

The BJP on Friday night amended its constitution to allow a person a second term as its president.

The amendment came following a recommendation by the O P Kohli Committee, party sources told PTI in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

However, the amendment provided that no person can hold the post for two consecutive terms.
