Tell us your dreams for India

'Cops take one-third of our earnings'

I think we should overhaul our police force. They harass innocent people, but allow criminals to get away. There is so much corruption. The cops take one-third of our earnings. That's the bribe they take from us to allow us to sell samosas.

I earn Rs 80 to 100 every day. One day I want to have a shop of my own and earn more money. Now, I send half of my monthly earnings to my mother. I save the other half to make my dream come true.

My father works in Kolkata on daily wages. My mother and grandmother live in my native village in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

What our country needs most is employment. That is our greatest need. I want India to become one of the most developed countries in the world, where there are no thefts, rape and fights. I want peace in all parts of my country.
