Tell us your dreams for India

'By 2010, we will send someone to the moon'

I think we have progressed in the fields of technology, education and defence in the last 50 years, but what about something as important as employment?

Unemployment has only risen and we have failed to arrest the trend.

I don't think politicians can take credit for whatever progress India has made. They can, of course, be held responsible for not being able to solve so many issues like the Kashmir problem, chiefly because of lack of political will.

If they can, they should change two things about India -- unemployment and corruption. I feel there will be significant progress by 2010 in technology and knowledge-based industry, which are India's area of strength and I wish to be part of that revolution.

I think by 2010, we will send someone to the moon.

As told to M Chhaya
