Tell us your dreams for India

'India is my country and I love it'

Despite all its shortcomings, India is my country and I love it. I can proudly say Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara.

I belong to Madhya Pradesh but I came to Haryana in search of work. I work for a landlord and plough a tractor through the fields to sow wheat and paddy seeds according to the crop pattern.

I am a poor farmer and will remain that way in years to come. But if I do become something by a stroke of luck I would be happy for my family and me.

I would like to banish unemployment from this country which forces people like me to leave their homes in search of jobs to far off places.

India is a unique country where people of all religions co-exist with each other. This is the greatness of my country.

But the country should grow in might so that its neighbours do not dare to challenge it.

As told to Onkar Singh
