Twenty-six hurt in grenade attacks in Kashmir

Twenty-six people were hurt in two grenade attacks in Kashmir valley since Sunday night, official sources said on Monday.

Thirteen people, including a policeman and two women, were injured when terrorists hurled a grenade near Batmaloo bus in Srinagar around 1650 hours (IST) on Monday, the sources said.

Earlier, terrorists threw a grenade towards a security vehicle near the sub-district hospital in Bijbehara town of Anantnag district, wounding 13 civilians, including four women, they said.

No militant outfit had claimed responsibility for the attacks.
