2 Hizb militants surrender in Jammu

A self-styled area commander of the pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen Hussain Sohail and his associate Abdul Latif on Saturday surrendered near Jammu before the Border Security Force.

They laid down arms before Inspector General Dilip Trivedi at Palura.

Sohail and Latif had undertaken training in Pakistan and had been active in Udhampur's Gool area for the past few years, Trivedi said.
