3 Pakistani militants killed on LoC

Three Pakistani militants were killed as the army foiled another infiltration bid on the Line of Control in Panjani Bowl, near the Bhimbar Gali sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night.

Alert border guards spotted a group of militants trying to sneak into Indian territory and fired upon the intruders, killing three of them, an army official said in New Delhi.

This was the third major infiltration attempt foiled by security forces in the last few days.

The official said Pakistan was making desperate attempts to push in militants to sabotage the forthcoming assembly polls in the state.
