Three security personnel
killed by militants in J&K

Three security personnel were killed in Srinagar in two separate attacks by militants on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.

Two CRPF personnel were killed in Karan Nagar area when militants fired on a patrol party, they said.

A person, who claimed to be the spokesman of the pro-Pakistan militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed, called a Srinagar-based news agency and claimed responsibility for the attack.

In another attack, militants shot and killed police constable Abdul Rashid at Soura, police sources said adding he was on patrol duty.
