Three army porters seriously hurt in Pak shelling in Batalik

Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar

At least three army porters were seriously wounded in heavy Pakistani shelling in Batalik sector on Thursday afternoon.

Shells landed in Silmoh village in the sector, injuring the three porters.

They have been shifted to an army hospital.

Police sources in Srinagar said that the Pakistani shelling in Batalik, Kharbu and Drass sectors has forced the people living in these areas to migrate to safer places.
