Prime Minister Vajpayee to
visit Kashmir on Tuesday

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will leave for a three-day visit to Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon.

He will be accompanied by Defence Minister George Fernandes. Union Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani will join the two later in Srinagar.

The prime minister is scheduled to chair a meeting of the Unified Command in Srinagar and also visit some forward areas.

He is also likely to meet the victims of last week's terrorist attack in Jammu.
