Terrorists behind Jammu massacre identified

The defence ministry on Thursday came out with the names and addresses of the terrorists involved in Tuesday's attack near Jammu, in which over 30 people were killed.

A spokesman for the ministry said "concrete evidence" available with India exposed "Pakistan's links to the terror attack on May 13, 2002, at Kalu Chak".

He said it had been conclusively proven that "all the three terrorists hailed from Pakistan".

He said the three terrorists were:

  • Abu Suhail
    s/o Abdullah,
    Faislabad.

  • Abu Murshed alias Mohammad Munir
    s/o Mehzabin Shah Jeb,
    Gali Number 1, Salamatpura, Rahwali Cantt, Gujranwala district.

  • Abu Javed alias Amzad Salam Bin Mohammed Gisha
    s/o Amir Bin Jabbi,
    Village Guda Giriya, Gujranwala district.
