Panthers Party announces candidates
for J&K polls

The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Tuesday announced 15 candidates for the four-phased election to the state assembly.

While the party will contest all the seven seats of Udhampur and Poonch districts, it has announced the names of only five candidates from Jammu district and three from Kathua district so far, according to a party release in Srinagar.

The names of candidates for other constituencies will be decided later, it said.

JKNPP chief Bhim Singh said on Monday that the party would field 60 candidates, including some women.

The party's symbol for the election is bicycle.
