Digvijay Singh comes out in support of Rao

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh on Friday came out in support of former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao in the Jharjkhand Mukti Morcha bribery case.

Commenting on Rao's conviction by a Central Bureau of Investigation court, he expressed surprise that the bribe takers and givers had been acquitted while Rao had been punished.

"Injustice has been done to Rao," he said while talking to newspersons in Balaghat.
