A list of immigrants who have met an unnatural end over the last few years.
January 26: Poonam Randhawa is killed a few hours after she got into a car allegedly driven by Ninderjit Singh who had stalked her for over two years.
December 27: Five Asians shot by masked gunmen believed to be Asians at New Lucky Garden Chinese Restaurant in East Vancouver.
December 20: Bindy Johal shot and killed at the Palladium Club in the middle of 350 dancing youth.
December 19, 1998:Vietnamese man, name not released, known to police as a gang associate, found in trunk of abandoned vehicle.
December 18, 1998:Chieu Thanh Nguyen, 22, known to police as a gang associate, found dead in his apartment.
November:Editor Tara Singh Hayer is killed in Surrey, a neighboring city.
November: Roman Mann, Johal's closest buddy, is found dead near Westminster Highway in Richmond.
Late October 1998: Eighteen shots fired into home of Peter Gill, Johal's former brother-in-law. Two shots shatter mirror in
neighbour's house.
October 7, 1998: Cocaine dealer Vikash Chand shot and killed at noon at Rags to Riches Motors, a car dealership in Burnaby.
September 19, 1998: Derek Chand Shankar, another alleged drug dealer and Johal's friend, is shot to death. Body found under Queensborough Bridge.
May 1998: Several shots are fired into Peter Gill's
garage.
January 1998: Car explodes in flames outside Gill's house.
October 1997: Gorinder Khun Khun, another Johal associate, shot to death in hail of bullets outside his home.
February 20, 1997: Mohammed Mirhadi shot thrice at point blank range at the Famous Player theatre complex while sitting next to girlfriend watching Donnie Brasco. Reports claim the Lotus Gang offered $ 65,000 for the killing.
November 30, 1996: Mani Rezai, alleged member of Persian Posse gang, shot in head while sitting in car outside rave dance and left paralyzed.
October 21, 1996: Bindy Johal challenges Lotus gang by kidnapping younger brother of gang member to collect on a drug debt.
June 1996: Siamak Zahedi suffers multiple gunshot wounds in gangland-related incident while at home.
April 24, 1994:Glen Olson, 29, in a case of mistaken identity, is fatally shot near Bindy Johal's home with an AK-47 military
assault rifle while walking landlord's dog in a park. He was mistaken for
Johal.
April 19, 1994: Ranjit (Ron) Dosanjh is fatally shot at intersection of Kingsway and Fraser in southeast Vancouver, by a killer who
pulls up beside him and fires high powered rifle.
February 25, 1994: Jimsher (Jim) Dosanjh fatally shot in dark alley in east Vancouver.
