Lal and Lal To Present Magic Extravaganza

NEW YORK

Renowned magician K Lal and Junior K Lal are performing in nearly a dozen American cities. Several of the shows will help charities in America and India. The events are presented by the Swaminarayan Gurukul, USA.

On August 28, a performance will be held at the Bergen County Tech. School Auditorium at 8 pm. Address: 200 Hackensack Ave, Hackensack, New Jersey.

On August 29 at 6 pm a performance is scheduled at the Westchester County Center, Central Avenue at Box River Pkwy in White Plains.

Performances are also scheduled in Atlanta, Georgia on August 20, Charlotte, North Carolina, August 21 and Washington DC on August 22.

RAKSHA Seeks Volunteers

ATLANTA

RAKSHA, sought by many of Atlanta's 30,000 South Asians for legal and medical counseling, continues to look for volunteers from among doctors, lawyers and social workers.

It is also appealing to help AIDS patients in the community, particularly an elderly man who does not have insurance nor family members in America.

The organization is also looking for donation of books in Indian languages, medical equipment and food items that can be used for charitable purposes.

Carnatic Music Concert

ATLANTA

Nitayashri Mahadevan will render some Carnatic classics on October 2. The venue and the duration of the concert will be announced too.
