Market@January 30: Day's report

The sentiment remained extremely bullish on Tuesday.

The sensex touched a four-month high. While Silverline and Digital gained more than 9 per cent each; Satyam, DSQ Software, Wipro and Infosys gained more than 4 per cent each.

Silverline meanwhile attracted an all-time high volume of 16.4 million shares.

In the non-software segment, Reliance touched an all-time high level of Rs 390.70. Bhel attracted an all-time high volume of 6.5 million shares and gained more than 6 per cent.

L&T, MTNL, Ranbaxy, HLL, ACC, Tisco, ITC and Grasim also gained smartly.

Sensex up 138 points at 4372. Nifty up 39 points at 1381.
