 VXL Instruments signs MOU with Optima Computer
 VXL Instruments Ltd. has informed BSE that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the company and Optima Computer Technology Australia (Optima) regarding a Joint Venture.
Optima is an established PC manufacturer having about 40% PC market share in the education segment in Australia. The JV entails the following:
1. VXL and Optima shall incorporate a new JV in Australia
2. JV shall provide Total Solutions including Hardware Software Network to education segment in Australia and New Zealand
3. VXL will supply thin clients and will provide technology support to the JV
4. Optima will provide marketing support and run the operations
5. VXL will have 40% stake in the JV and Optima 60%
6. Optima will take an equity stake of a like amount in VXL

 Sree Rayalaseema Power Board approves scheme of amalgamation
 The Board of Directors of Sree Rayalaseema Power Corporation Ltd. has approved in principle the amalgamation of the company with Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Ltd.

 Rinki Petrochemicals to invest in equity of Harbor Network
 Rinki Petrochemicals & Industries Ltd. has informed BSE that, in tune with the ongoing exercise designed by the Management of the company, the company has decided to invest strategically in the equity shares of Harbor Network Systems Ltd. a company engaged in the information technology business.

 With reference to the news item, appearing in a leading daily indicating that Indian Hotels Company Ltd may go in for ADR to part finance its expansion plans. The company has informed BSE that no such proposal is under consideration and the article is not accurate.
