 BSE imposes Additional Volatility Margin on 66 scrips

 Shakti Press FY 2000 net profit at Rs 15.39 million
 Shakti Press Ltd. has posted a net profit of Rs 15.39 million for the year ended June 30, 2000 as compared to Rs 14.20 million for the same period last year. Net sales for the year ended June 30, 2000 are at Rs 123.88 million as compared to Rs 111.43 million in FY 99. Other income for the year ended June 30,2000 is at Rs 0.02 million as compared to Rs 0.22 million in FY 99.

 HFCL to disinvest its stake in Fascel
 Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd has informed BSE that the management of the company has decided to disinvest its entire shareholding of 3,49,99,500 shares of Rs 10/- each in Fascel Ltd . The sales will be at a premium of Rs 10/- per share.

 SPL Infoweb allots 5.1 million equity shares
 The Board of Directors of SPL Infoweb Ltd. at its meeting held today (September 16, 2000) has made an allotment of 51,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a premium of Rs 2.50 per share issued on preferential allotment basis.

 BSE advises members not to deal in equity shares of Swojas Energy
 BSE has informed its members that Swojas Energy Foods Ltd has appointed M.B Kasodekar as Liquidator for `Voluntary Winding up' of the company. Members of the Exchange are hereby advised that not to deal in the equity shares of the abovementioned company with effect from 18/09/2000.

 BSE to resume dealings in 5 scrips
 Members of the Bombay Stock Exchange were advised not to deal in the securities of the undermentioned companies because of non-compliance of listing requirements regarding intimation of dates of closure of Registrar of Members/Record Dates to the Exchange. The dealings in the securities can now be resumed with effect from September 18, 2000

 Hindustan Construction bags orders worth Rs 4707.30 million
 Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. has informed BSE that the company has secured the following work orders:
1. From Government of Gujarat to build Gujarat State Highways project ,phase 1 and also to strengthen and widen to two lanes of Asphatt road from Mehsana to Palanpur The above mentioned order is worth Rs 705 million
2. From Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd Mumbai a project worth Rs 4002.30 million. The project is to be executed jointly with PATI, SON BHD, Malaysia. The project is Bandra -Worli Sea Link Project - construction of Cable Stayed Bridge, Viaduct, Approaches And toll plaza.

 Siemens to divest 51% in Siemens Telecom
 Siemens Ltd. has informed BSE that the company is in the process of divesting its 51% holding (amounting to Rs.139.23 million) in Siemens Telecom Ltd., in favour of Bharti Telecom Ltd.the other joint venture partner in STL. Negotiations are under way and the transaction is expected to be completed by end of September, 2000.
