Market@September 15: Day's report

The sentiment remained bearish for the software stocks, second half of day's trade witnessed near panic selling. DSQ Soft, Wipro, SSI, Dig Equipment, Zee Tele and Himachal reported huge selling pressure.

DSQ Soft was the first to hit the lower circuit at 8 per cent finally ending the day down by 11 per cent. It attracted an all-time high volume of 70 lakh shares.

In the non-software segment, the stocks like Reliance, HLL, ITC, SBI, ACC and L&T were also weak.

Sensex down 109 points at 4563, Nifty down 29 points at 1417.
