 Triumph International SQ 2000 net profit at Rs 118.80 million
 Triumph International Finance Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 118.8 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 as compared to Rs 31.9 million in September 30,99. Income from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 is at Rs 263.2 million as compared to Rs 50.4 million in SQ 99.

 Paramount Communications Q2 net profit up by 108.1%
 Paramount Communications Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 14.57 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 as compared to Rs 7/- million in the same period last year. Net sales have improved from Rs 218.99 million in SQ 99 to Rs 404.48 million in the quarter ended September 30, 2000. Other income for the quarter ended September ended 30, 2000 is at Rs 0.29 million as compared to Rs 0.28 million in the same period last year.

 Thomas Cook Q3 net profit at Rs 36.27 million
 Thomas Cook India Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 36.27 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 as compared to Rs 35.86 million in the same period last year. Net Sales for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 are at Rs 194.88 million as compared to Rs 168.03 million in SQ 99.
Other income for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 is at Rs 5.79 million as compared to Rs 8.71 million. The Bonus shares were alloted in the ratio of 2:3 during the quarter.

 YadaYada announces worldwide partnership with Infosys to bring wireless technology
 YadaYada, the first integrated wireless service provider and personalized Mobile Web Portal, announced a long term worldwide strategic partnership with Infosys Technologies Ltd. a leading IT consulting firm. The partnership has been formed to develop Yada Yada's core technology needs to launch the first business and consumer Mobile Web Portal for PDAs in the world. Under the terms of the partnership it is planned that, over the next twelve months, Infosys will establish a team of over 100 consultants for Yada Yada in the United States, India and Europe to develop end-to-end wireless solutions.
YadaYada was founded to provide personalized wireless Internet access for mobile users with PDA devices. Infosys is providing support in implementing the core technology that will assist YadaYada in offering wireless users the world's first personalized Mobile Web Portal that can access any Web site in the world, synchronize their personal information managers (PIM) and aggregate all personal information including email accounts, calendars, to do lists etc. With its focus on being the first fully integrated wireless service and Mobile Web Portal, Yada Yada was looking for a strategic partner to develop, integrate and implement its wireless technologies quickly and with expertise. "Wireless Internet technology is fairly young - and wireless access to Internet sites is even newer and more challenging, stated Amit Joshi, chief Technology Officer for Yada Yada.
Infosys is excited about partnering with Yada Yada to be a part of developing the first truly integrated Mobile Web Portal and wireless ISP for PDA users in the world, declared Subhash Dhar, Head of Business Practice for Infosys. "We are glad to be contributing our expertise to make Yada Yada's vision a reality - and look forward to providing cutting edge solutions in the wireless market," observed Phaneesh Murthy, Board Member and Head of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.  Ranbaxy launches Sidenafil Citrate
 Ranbaxy has taken the lead amongst the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry in its efforts to create a scientific platform for the much-awaited launch of Sildenafil Citrate (CAVERTA)
