Market@November 23: Day's report

After a weak open the software stocks showed recovery in the second half of the day. Himachal was the major gainer. It gained more than 6 per cent. DSQ Soft, and Digital Equipment also gained more than 3 per cent each. Zee Tele also attracted buying interest.

In the non-software segment, ACC remained in limelight and gained more than 6 per cent. It attracted an all-time high volume of 97 lakh shares.

Sensex down 10 points at 3852, Nifty down 4 points at 1218.
