 Cummins India declares 35 % interim dividend
 The Board of Directors of Cummins India Ltd at its meeting held today (25/03/2000), has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.50/ - per share (35%) for the financial year ending on March 321, 2000. The interim dividend will be paid to those shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as on the record date:- April 25, 2000.

 Usha Beltron to consider scheme of De-merger
 In line with its decision at its meeting held at its meeting held on March 4, 2000, the Board of Directors of Usha Beltron Ltd will meet on March 29, 2000 to consider among other things the scheme of de-merger of Software and knowledge based businesses of the company.

 DSP Merrill Lynch Interim Dividend at Rs 10/- per share
 The Board of Directors of DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd at its meeting held today (March 25, 2000) has declared an interim dividend of Rs 10/- per share for the year 1999-2000. The Board has fixed April 28, 2000 as the Book Closure date for the purpose of determining the list of members entitled to the interim dividend.

 Larsen Services interim dividend at Rs 0.75/- per share

 Polymechplast to include IT business in the objects clause, preferential allotment planned
 At the EGM of Polymechplast Machines Ltd held today (March 25, 2000), the members passed special resolutions relating to inserting a new object relating to Information Technology enabled services etc. The members also authorized the Board of Directors of to make preferential allotment of equity shares not exceeding 17,28,500.

 Multi-Arc to consider preferential offer to strategic investor
 The Board of Directors of Multi-Arc India Ltd will meet on March 27, 2000 to consider making an preferential offer of equity shares to strategic investor at a premium. The offer is however subject to necessary consents and approvals as may be required.

 Rolta India Net Profit up by 43.72 %, dividend at 25 %
 Rolta India Ltd has announced a net profit Rs 602.075 million for the year ended December 31, 1999 as against Rs 418.92 million for the previous financial year. The net sales for the FY 99 is Rs 1838.30 million as compared to Rs 1203.517 million in FY 98, an increase of 52.744 %. The other income was up by 197.55 % at Rs 10.215 million against Rs 3.433 million in FY 98. The Board has recommended a final dividend of 25% for the year ended December 31, 1999.

 Surya Roshni to form overseas subsidiary
 At their next meeting to be held on March 29, 2000, the Board of Directors of Surya Roshni Ltd will consider incorporating a wholly owned subsidiary company in Hong Kong to market Indian, Chinese, and other products worldwide under the "Surya" brand.

 SPL Ltd Interim Dividend at Rs 1.70/- per share
 The Board of Directors of SPL Ltd at its meeting held on March 25, 2000 has declared an interim dividend of Re 1/- per share (10 %) on the equity shares for the year ended March 31, 2000. The Board has further decided that the record date for the purpose of interim dividend will be May 9, 2000.

 The Board of Directors of Maharashtra Electrosmelt Ltd at its meeting held on March 24, 2000 has decided to issue 14 million equity shares to Steel Authority of India Ltd out of the unissued shares of the company. The issue of shares is subject to the provisions of Section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act 1956, and the guidelines issued by the SEBI.

 Maharashtra Seamless declares 25 % interim dividend
 The Board of Directors of Maharashtra Seamless Ltd at its meeting held on March 24, 2000 has declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.20/- per share (12%). The interim dividend shall be payable to the members whose name appear on the register of members as on May 10, 2000 (Record Date).

 Hoechst Marion declares 35% interim dividend
 The Board of Directors of Hoechst Marion Roussel Ltd at its meeting held on March 24, 2000 has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.50/- per share (35%) for the financial year ending March 31, 2000. Th interim dividend shall be payable to the members whose name appear on the register of members as on April 25, 2000. For the preceding year ending March 31, 1999 the company had declared and paid a dividend of 45 %.

 BLB Ltd plans Infotech Subsidiary
 BLB Ltd has informed the BSE that the BLB Group has incorporated a company under the name and style of BLB Infotech Ltd (BIL). BLB Ltd is planning to make this newly formed company its subsidiary after the due approval in the next Board meeting of the company.
The main activity of the proposed company will be to develop E-Commerce based solutions, interactive software for Internet trading, Portal management, software packages on personal finance and share accounting and others. BIL is in the process of entering into a strategic alliance with a Delhi based software firm, SORD Systems Pvt. Ltd. SORD Systems in the business of software development for the past few years and has developed various software packages.
BIL also had preliminary discussions with a US based software company for development of packages on net based B2B and B2C models. The foreign partner will provide BIL with the latest technologies and will act as the front-end office of BLB in the US to market its products.

 SM Dyechem Net Loss up by 229.70%
 SM Dyechem Ltd has announced a net loss of Rs 103.485 million for the for the quarter ended December 31, 1999 as against Rs 31.387 million for the quarter December 98. The net sales for the quarter was Rs 354.977 million as compared to Rs 382.973 million in DQ 98, a decrease of 7.26 %. The other income was down by 56.62 % at Rs 19.412 million against Rs 44.749 million in DQ 98.

 SM Energy Teknik DQ 99 Net Loss at Rs 4.82 million
 SM Energy Teknik & Electronics has announced a net loss of Rs 4.82 million for the quarter ended December 31, 1999 as against Rs 4.799 million for the quarter December 98. The net sales for the quarter was Rs 25.554 million as compared to Rs 16.411 million in DQ 98, an increase of 55.63 %.

 Kesoram Industries declares 10% interim dividend
 The Board of Directors of Kesoram Industries Ltd at its meeting held on March 24, 2000 has declared an interim dividend of Re 1/- per share (10%) for the year ending March 31, 2000. The Board has also clarified that it does not intend to recommend any further dividend for the financial year ending March 31, 2000.

 Nicholas Piramal to consider ADR/ADS issue
 The Board of Directors of Nicholas Piramal India Ltd will meet on March 30, 2000 to consider among other things the following:
1. Declaration of Interim Dividend
2. International offerings by issue of securities through American Depositary Receipts/American Depositary Securities giving rise to equity shares.
