Market@July 4: Day's report

The sentiment remaind mixed on Tuesday. While stocks like DSQ Soft, Wipro, Satyam, Pentamedia, and Infosys attracted buying. Himachal, Global Tele and Zee Tele came under strong selling pressure and showed negative close.

Among the non-software stocks, stocks like L&T, ACC and Ranbaxy remained strong. Stocks from the pharma sector also attracted buying. Cipla, Sun Pharma and Ipca Labs were the major gainers.

Sensex up 44 points at 4889, Nifty up 12 points at 1507.
