Market@December 4: Day's report

Sentiment for the software stocks remained mixed. While Global Tele, Silverline and Zee Tele remained firm, Satyam, Pentamedia and Infosys attracted selling.

The performance of the non-software stocks was impressive. L&T, Bhel, Tisco, ITC, SBI and Reliance Industries attracted strong buying. Cement stocks also were in demand.

Sensex up 5 points at 4037, Nifty down one point at 1275.
