Reliance denies fresh issue of equity

The Reliance Group has categorically denied that there is any proposal under consideration for a fresh issue of equity share capital either by Reliance Industries or Reliance Petroleum.

RIL and RPL will, however, consider an exchange of their presently outstanding Global Depository Receipts into American Depository Receipts at an appropriate time, a company statement said.
