Govinda, Nana together for the first time

Komal Nahta

Two actors -- each temperamental, each of a master of his craft.

Both whom no director, it must be mentioned, has ventured to cast together.

Now, producer Rajiv Babbar has signed Govinda and Nana Patekar for his next film, to be directed by Aziz Sejawal (maker of Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri).

All it took to convince the two actors was a separate narration by Aziz Sejawal.

Surprising, though, that both did not ask for a joint narration of the subject, which is quite customary when it is a film with two equally talented heroes.

Which says as much for Sejawal's convincing powers as for the subject as for their keenness to work with the other.

Rajiv Babbar, it may be mentioned here, has made a line of films with Mithun Chakraborty, like Cheetah, Jallad, Yamraaj, Maa Kasam.
