With Bihar coming under President's Rule, all the orders passed by Rabri Devi as caretaker chief minister between February 28 and March 7 have been put on hold and would be executed only after a review, official sources said on Friday.

A notification issued by the cabinet coordination committee said that all the orders passed by the caretaker chief minister and her cabinet colleagues during that period should be put on hold and would be executed only after a thorough review.

Governor Buta Singh's advisors will go through these orders before notifications are issued, the sources said, adding "this has been the normal practice."

After failing to muster a majority in the assembly polls, Rabri Devi had tendered her resignation on February 28 to the governor.

She was asked to continue in caretaker capacity till an alternative arrangement was made.

With no party or coalition coming even close to forming a government, the governor had recommended imposition of President's rule, which came into force on March 7.
