Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren has said he will win the trust vote in the assembly on Friday.

Soren told media persons on Thursday that the United Progressive Alliance had the support of 42 legislators in the 81-member house.

Governors took their own decisions: PM

"I have said earlier and I say it again today that I have 42 legislators supporting me," Soren said after a UPA meeting.

He claimed that among the 42 legislators were Independent MLAs Enos Ekka, Madhu Kora and Hari Harain Rai, who are among the 41 legislators taken by the National Democratic Alliance to Rajasthan.

When told that all the three legislators were seen in the NDA camp, Soren replied, "You have yourselves seen that Ekka, Kora and Rai were forcibly driven away in a bus after the election results were declared."

Soren clarified that Forward Bloc MLAs Aparna Sengupta and Bhanupratap Sahi, who were supporting his government, did not attend the swearing-in ceremony because they were busy with some meeting.

Also Nationalist Congress Party legislator Kamlesh Singh did not turn up to take the oath as he had a puja to attend.

Soren said he was not aware about any notice served by pro-tem speaker Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu to Enos Ekka asking why he should not be disqualified for going against his party directive.

To a question whether he would move the Supreme Court against its directive of advancing the trial of strength by four days, Soren said, "If necessary we will do so. We did not get the time earlier."
