Around 45-50% of the voters exercised their franchise in the last phase of polling for 18 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
There was no report of any untoward incident from anywhere, election office sources said in Lucknow.
The polling began on a dull note but picked up, the sources said.
Elaborate security arrangements were made to ensure free and fair polling, they added.
