1 killed, 6 injured in Budgam

One woman was killed and six others were wounded in two hand-grenade attacks in Tral and Kulgam in Budgam district in south Kashmir on Monday afternoon.

In the first incident, militants hurled a hand-grenade on security personnel at the Tral bus stand.

The grenade missed the target and exploded nearby causing serious injuries to four civilians who were rushed to hospital. One woman identified as Hamida Bano died of her injuries in the hospital.

In another incident, a grenade hurled at the Kulgam bus stand injured two civilians who have been admitted to a hospital.
