Did you know?

  • Initially, the ICC Champions Trophy was known as the Wills International Cup.
  • India defeated Australia in its first match at the Wills International Cup in 1998 as well as the ICC Knock-out Trophy (2000)
  • Sourav Ganguly is the best batsman by far in the two tournaments held so far -- he scored 432 runs at an average of 86.40
  • Jacques Kallis is the most successful bowler with 12 wickets, at a misery average of 17.42
  • Tendulkar occupies the second place in both the batting and bowling categories: 320 runs at 53.33 and 10 wickets at 19.30
  • All the matches in the Dhaka tournament were day-night affairs while in Nairobi they were all day matches.
