Lease line wide area network services are available now and a local dial remote access facility will be provided from early 1998. Ravi Marwaha, managing director and CEO, IBM Global Services India, has said IBM's technological strength and experience, along with VSNL's domestic and international technological capability and reach, makes this a unique and strong alliance. He claimed that the tie-up will help reach out to the vast customer base in India with real solutions to their communication needs, utilising the power of network computing.
