Aptech targets Rs 500 m software export this fiscalInfotech major Aptech Limited has set its software export target at Rs 500 million during the current financial year.
He told reporters in Bombay that in the next three years, 30 per cent of the company's revenues would come from software development and 51 per cent from exports. Natarajan was speaking after the inauguration of the company's new software development facility at the Software and Electronics Export Processing Zone in Bombay. Ravindra Gupta, secretary, Department of Electronics, inaugurated the SDF. Aptech's software activities commenced in 1998 from the company's Software Technology Park unit in Bombay. An e-commerce technologies centre started operations in Bangalore earlier this year. The new SDF, Aptech's third facility, has been established on 16,000 square feet with high-speed data communications links and modern facilities for providing 24-hour offshore development capability to overseas clients. Natarajan said that a fourth software development facility has been planned to be set-up by Aptech in the country. UNI |
